abelmosaics
maker of endangered wildlife mosaics
Emma's endangered wildlife mosaics aim to provide a small platform for species threatened by deforestation, poaching, war and disease. She promotes awareness through competitions/exhibitions, donating 10% of each sale to wildlife charities. She aims to portray character and fragility of movement with every tuft of hair or ruffled feather cut with precision. Handmade glass fused pieces add personality. Workshops take place in Emma's Wiltshire studio and externally, sharing the love and skill of the mosaic art form.
Since 2019 Emma has been a finalist in the global Arts initiative run by conservation charity Explorers Against Extinction. In 2020 "Pygmy Raccoon" was Runner-Up for The Artist Award. In 2022 her Hooded Vultures mosaic was awarded Highly Commended, just one of a few selected from 3000 global entries.

abelmosaics supports EdenGreenspace, an environmental organisation devoted to restoring our planet, bringing together the most effective projects from around the world, including
🌳 Planting trees
🌊 Removing toxic ocean plastic
🌻 Rewilding barren landscapes
With each mosaic sold, Eden Greenspace will plant ten trees in Madagascar, Nepal or Kenya.
